The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and AURORA Share ‘RING THE ALARM’ Under New TOMORA moniker

The Chemical Brothers’ Tom Rowlands and Norwegian avant pop icon Aurora have unveiled their first official release as TOMORA, sharing the propulsive new single ‘RING THE ALARM’ via Capitol Records.

Premiered last week on Jack Saunders’ BBC Radio 1 show, the track cuts through with heaving low-end oscillations and a sharp, addictive vocal refrain; a sonic statement that introduces the duo as a fully realised project rather than a one-off collaboration.

“We wanted TOMORA to be a band, not two individuals. It’s our musical feeling come to life,” the pair noted in a press statement.

Despite only now releasing their debut track, TOMORA have already prompted heavy speculation online after quietly appearing on several major 2026 festival lineups. Their confirmed performances include Coachella, NOS Alive, Colours of Ostrava, Øya, and Down the Rabbit Hole.

The new project also follows a year of renewed attention on The Chemical Brothers, with contemporary artists revisiting and reimagining classic cuts. YAZZUS contributed an edit of ‘Hey Boy Her Girl’ to The 2000s Pack, while Chris Lake delivered a fresh take on ‘Galvanize’ in celebration of the track’s 20th anniversary.
