Sibb Explores Moral Clarity in New Cinematic Music Video for ‘Alright’

Singer-songwriter Sibb, the musical project of artist Kamau Romano, has officially released the music video for his single, ‘Alright, ’ on May 19, 2026. This track is a standout soulful ballad from his debut EP, Delusion.

This release marks the second chapter in a cinematic trilogy that began with a previous music video release for his track, ‘Mine.’ Falling under a thematic section titled “Act I – Hyperromanticism,” ‘Alright’ serves as a moral counterpoint to the intense attraction explored in earlier tracks. Instead, it focuses on the emotional weight of rejecting an invitation to infidelity.

“The character expresses the insecurity in their decision,” Sibb explained, noting that the song draws inspiration from 90s ballads and the smooth arrangements of artists like Lianne La Havas.

Visually, the video transitions from the “danger red” aesthetic of ‘Mine’ to a “vulnerable blue.” Dressed in white and adorned with pearls and diamonds, Sibb portrays a protagonist seeking clarity. The imagery follows him through blue corridors to a city rooftop, symbolising the cool, sobering reality that often follows difficult moral choices.

Sibb’s rise comes after two years of performing across Germany at major venues like Fusion Festival and Kantine am Berghain. Originally trained in engineering, he pivoted to music following a mentorship with Trinidadian jazz musician Vaughnnette Bigford. His stage name, an acronym for “simple black boy”, serves as a core statement about his identity as an artist.

Now signed with Embassy of Music, a label renowned for its work with Robyn and Björk, Sibb continues to blend sophisticated sonics with high-concept visual storytelling.
