LSDXOXO – DOGMA

LSDXOXO’s debut album DOGMA showcases the artist’s versatility and marks a significant stylistic evolution. Known for his eclectic style ranging from bass-heavy dance tracks to intense techno, LSDXOXO (born Raushaan Glasgow) has consistently defied genre expectations.

DOGMA represents a departure from his previous work, blending elements of grunge, indietronica, hip-house, and breakbeats into a cohesive pop album. This collection emphasises vocals and lyrics more than ever before, revealing a more introspective side of the artist.

The album’s tracks explore complex themes of identity, fame, desire, and emotional vulnerability. Glasgow’s lyrics oscillate between bravado and introspection, often within the same song. For instance, Girls, Girls, Girls juxtaposes a confident exterior with underlying insecurities, while 4LUVN and BLOODLUST present contrasting perspectives on emotional exposure.

Musically, DOGMA draws from a diverse palette. The production seamlessly integrates acoustic guitars, distorted grime trap beats, and elements reminiscent of Glasgow’s earlier electronic work. This stylistic fluidity mirrors the album’s thematic exploration of the artist’s multifaceted personality.

What emerges is a deeply personal album that challenges preconceptions about LSDXOXO’s artistic identity. By embracing vulnerability and exploring a wider range of musical styles, Glasgow has created a work that feels both fresh and authentic.
