Jordan Rakei’s ‘Sorceress’ Released via Ninja Tune

New Zealand born multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and producer, Jordan Rakei has released his new EP Sorceress via Ninja Tune.

‘Sorceress’, the title track, sees Jordan edging beyond the peripheries of the genial, often sun-flecked sound his fans have come to know him for. “It’s about how the ego can fully control the way you act and perceive life,” he says

His debut album was self- released in 2016, and earned him a slot as support for the likes of Jamie Woon and NAO at Pitchfork Avant-Garde Block Party 2016. He has since added a collection of collaborations to his portfolio: Taku, Tom Misch, and FKJ, as well as lending vocals to Disclosure’s track ‘Masterpiece’ and even jazz collaborations with United Vibrations, Richard Spavin and Alfa Mist.
