Rising from the shadows of the underground, techno trio CORPSESHOCK make a bold debut with their single ‘In Heaven’.
Released today, the gut-wrenching single blends hard techno, with the grit of industrial textures along with ghostly vocals. It offers an infectious and high-octane soundscape that feels like it came from another dimension.
Accompanying the release is an occult-like music video, drenched in neon fog and surreal horror imagery. At its centre, flickers a broken television, endlessly looping the phrase: “In heaven, everything is fine.” Leading the trio is vocalist Mina Harker, whose voice drifts in and out of seething synths and bone-rattling bass while channeling lyrics inspired by David Lynch’s Eraserhead. Joining her is Dr. Satan, the trio’s screamcore priest, whose guttural vocals and creepy hums add weight and unease to the mix.
