Björk took to the decks at Rome’s Dissonanze Festival over the weekend, delivering an eclectic DJ set that moved across experimental electronic music, club sounds and emerging artists.
On Saturday, 12 September, the Icelandic artist performed at the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone for the festival’s New Chapter edition. She played alongside Peggy Gou, Floating Points, Donato Dozzy, Honey Dijon, Job Jobse, Kelly Lee Owens, and Derrick Carter.
Highlighting her adventurous musical palette, footage shows her playing underscores’ ‘Unlimited Love’, ABADIR’s ‘The Primitivist’, and tracks by Nyege Nyege Tapes artists DJ Travella and Jay Mita, alongside Yaa Naara, Fave, Kasimyn, Theodora, Arca, and Kelela.
The set was a standout moment of Dissonanze’s return to Rome. Held on 12–13 September at the Auditorium, the festival highlighted contemporary electronic music, sound experimentation, and live performances, with a lineup including Moodymann b2b Marcellus Pittman, Octave One, Raresh, Ron Trent, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Skream & Benga, and Jazzanova.
