French electronic duo Justice, comprising Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, have announced details of their forthcoming original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, with the album scheduled for release on 11 December 2026 via Because Music and Ed Banger Records. The announcement arrives alongside the release of ‘Pusher’, a driving, synth-led track marking the duo’s first official collaboration with fellow French producer Gesaffelstein. The forthcoming album, titled Grand Theft Auto VI: Original Score, will feature 30 tracks alongside additional bonus music, forming a three-hour suite of material. It will be available across major streaming platforms, as well as in limited-edition CD and vinyl formats.
Justice has composed the original score for Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, which is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 19 November 2026. The release marks 13 years since Grand Theft Auto V first arrived in 2013. Set in the fictional state of Leonida, including a return to modern-day Vice City, the game will also feature a separate musical release, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album. Its first single, ‘Flower In a Hurricane’, features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
Speaking about the creative direction behind the score, de Rosnay explained that the scale of the game called for an equally expansive musical approach. “The scope of the game is so large geographically and thematically that it was clear from the beginning that the music would also have to be very broad in terms of emotions, genres, and textures.” He added that the duo were given the freedom to explore different musical directions, provided they made sense within the game. With ‘Pusher’ now available, the collaboration offers an early glimpse into Justice’s musical contribution to one of the most anticipated video game releases of 2026.
