Justin Bieber has been confirmed as the latest artist to join the historic halftime show at the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final, adding another global superstar to what is already one of the biggest music lineups ever assembled for a sporting event. The Canadian singer will perform alongside previously announced headliners Madonna, Shakira and BTS during the inaugural World Cup Final halftime show on 19 July at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The performance marks the first time FIFA has staged a Super Bowl-style halftime show at a men’s World Cup final. Produced in partnership with Global Citizen and curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the 11-minute spectacle is expected to be watched by billions of viewers worldwide. Additional appearances are set to include Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the PS22 Chorus from Staten Island.
Speaking about the announcement, Bieber said he was honoured to be part of such a landmark event, describing the World Cup as a celebration that unites people across cultures through sport and music. The halftime show will also support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise $100 million to improve access to education and football for children around the world, with $1 from every ticket sold going towards the initiative.
