Jyoty, HAAi, and Jaguar are among the artists lending their voices to a new open letter from campaign group Not Bad For A Girl, drawing attention to persistent gender disparities in UK festival and club bookings.

Published on February 5, the letter highlights two major 2026 UK festivals, one with a line-up reportedly composed of 80% men, alongside a London club night announced with a 100% male roster. The collective asks pointedly, “When did underrepresented artists stop getting booked on line-ups? While female artists prove their worth time and time again—engaging huge fanbases, dominating awards shows and contributing to billion-pound live revenues—why is line-up diversity getting worse?”

Signatories include Saint Ludo, Naina, Jyoty, HAAi, Jaguar, Saoirse, Jamz Supernova, and HE.SHE.THEY. founder Steven Braines. The letter urges promoters, bookers, fans, and artists to take collective responsibility for addressing the imbalance.

Notably, the campaign avoids naming specific festivals or promoters, stating: “We believe in constructive conversations over scrappy insults. Dance music has always been built on community, and now more than ever we need to work together to build a better future for everyone.”

The open letter is available for public support, inviting readers to join the push for equity in electronic music line-ups.
