Legendary German electronic music trailblazers Kraftwerk have announced a UK and Ireland tour for 2026, marking their first major run of shows in the region since 2017. The pioneering band, now led by founding member Ralf Hütter, will perform 15 dates across the UK and Ireland, with tickets going on sale this Friday.
The tour continues Kraftwerk’s acclaimed Multimedia Tour, a live production concept that blends performance, digital installations, and immersive 3D visuals. First launched at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York in 2012, the show has evolved into a full-scale audiovisual experience that reimagines the group’s groundbreaking catalog for a new generation.
Audiences can expect a retrospective of Kraftwerk’s eight classic albums, brought to life through their signature fusion of art, technology, and sound. The setlist will include highlights from Autobahn (1974), Radio-Activity (1975), Trans Europe Express (1977), The Man-Machine (1978), Computer World (1981), Techno Pop (1986), The Mix (1991), and Tour De France (2003).
The announcement follows Kraftwerk’s global 50th anniversary celebrations for Autobahn, which included performances at Coachella, Sydney Opera House, Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall, and Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris. Over the years, the group has presented their 3D concert series at some of the world’s leading art and cultural institutions, including Montreux Jazz Festival, Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.
Since forming in Düsseldorf in the early 1970s, Kraftwerk have remained at the forefront of electronic innovation, shaping the sound and aesthetic of modern music. As they prepare to return to UK and Irish stages in 2026, their multimedia performances continue to affirm the band’s enduring influence, and the timeless interplay between human creativity and machine precision.
