FKA twigs has officially announced the release date for her highly anticipated follow-up to Eusexua. Titled Eusexua Afterglow, the album is set to arrive on November 14 via Atlantic/Young. The record is described as “an entirely new body of work that will serve as a continuation” of her critically acclaimed 2025 album, extending the sonic and visual themes that first defined Eusexua – moving them from the strobe-lit euphoria of the club to the hazy dreamscapes of afterparties.
Alongside the announcement, FKA twigs shared a single from the project, ‘Cheap Hotel’ accompanied by an extended music video directed by Jordan Hemingway. The track drifts through dimly lit rooms with a hypnotic trip-hop sway, as FKA twigs’ ethereal vocals intertwine with drowsy, chopped-and-screwed-style raps and gently rippling synths, creating a languid, intoxicating atmosphere. The video stars FKA twigs alongside the Clermont Twins, blending her signature visual experimentation with a narrative-driven cinematic approach. The video follows twigs and a friend on a woozily surreal hotel escapade using an unlucky man’s credit card, culminating in a playful twist when the unsuspecting owner arrives at the hotel.
In addition to her solo work, FKA twigs recently collaborated with Yeat on “Fly Nitë” and is set to star opposite Nicolas Cage in Lofty Nathan’s upcoming biblical horror film The Carpenter’s Son, further cementing her multidisciplinary presence across music and film.
