Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave, passed away on Wednesday night in Detroit, aged 52.
His death has come as a shock, as Soungarden had performed a gig at the Fox Theatre that evening. Cornell had been tweeting upbeat messages about the sold-out show just hours before his death.
