After four years of pushing underground boundaries, Zealous Records celebrates a milestone moment with the release of Summer VA — a carefully curated six-track showcase featuring a fresh wave of European talent. Out June 19th, this tech house and deep tech compilation arrives with early nods from tastemakers like Jamie Jones, Franky Rizardo, Goosey, and Ramin Rezaie. Blending sun-drenched nostalgia with late-night grit, Summer VA captures the label’s ongoing mission to elevate underground voices into the global spotlight.
Each artist on Summer VA brings a distinct sonic fingerprint and a compelling creative story. UK-based Zak Cox, known for his sample-driven house rooted in old-skool energy, opens the VA with a revivalist anthem. Luca Cucullo, a deep-tech craftsman with an ear for introspection, follows with a track born from personal drive. Rising talent Ollie Nick threads minimal percussion with melodic warmth, while Italian producer Eros Santisi channels laid-back spontaneity straight from the Mediterranean coast. Orce Jordanov draws on his Balkan roots with a nostalgic, groove-heavy tribute, and Witness Protection closes the journey with an experimental yet floor-focused final cut.
