Released on 24 November, ‘This Life’ (ft. Tom Smith) stays true to Tinlicker’s organic-sounding, progressive house. A temple block percussion introduces Smith’s soul-tingling voice, as his lyrics duet with sustained chords and ringing guitars. All of this culminates in an emotionally charged ambiance throughout. By itself a powerful standalone single, Tinlicker shared this new track with Tom Smith to herald the Dutch pair’s much-anticipated third album, ‘Cold Enough For Snow’. Before then, the multi-award-winning pair will return to UK shores; appearing at Troxy London, Marble Factory (Bristol), and Mandela Hall (Belfast). EU billings include the Gashouder (NL), Elysee Montmartre (Paris), Magazzini Generali (Milan), Vicar Street (Dublin), Live Music Hall (Cologne), Fabrik (Hamburg), as well as breaking ground on many new stages worldwide.

About the new track, Tinlicker shared, “It’s magical that when you grow older life can still be full of surprises… like receiving vocals from the singer of [Editors]. Signing with [PIAS] Électronique made it possible to work together, and Tom Smith’s singing and writing instantly clicked with the song we wrote. Fittingly enough, ‘This Life’ became our bright new single.”
