In a landmark collaboration uniting giants in digital culture and global festival prestige, TikTok has announced an expansive new partnership with Tomorrowland, the iconic electronic dance music festival known for its visionary productions and global influence.
The year-long alliance will see TikTok named as Tomorrowland’s Official Content Partner, delivering round-the-clock access to exclusive festival content. From 24/7 live streams and behind-the-scenes footage to artist collaborations and interactive fan activations, the partnership promises to elevate the digital festival experience for music lovers worldwide.
As Tomorrowland 2025 unfolds across two weekends this July in Boom, Belgium, fans across the globe will be able to tune in via TikTok LIVE, explore artist-led content, and immerse themselves in a curated in-app #Tomorrowland hub designed to bring the atmosphere and energy of the festival directly to user screens. An official video template via CapCut will also enable fans to share and remix their experiences, extending the festival’s reach across digital spaces.
In a deeper musical collaboration, SoundOn, TikTok’s music distribution and promotion platform, will partner with Tomorrowland Music to host a pre-festival songwriting camp. Artists from both rosters will co-write and release original tracks to soundtrack content across TikTok, with live performances of the songs taking place onstage during the festival and distributed via SoundOn.
Already a major presence on the platform, the #Tomorrowland hashtag has amassed over 10 billion views, with creators showcasing standout festival moments and performances. In 2023, Tomorrowland‘s livestream on TikTok drew a record-breaking 16 million viewers, underscoring the platform’s central role in how fans connect with live music today. Electronic music continues to dominate on TikTok, with the #ElectronicMusic tag surpassing 34 billion views and genres like techno and house outpacing indie and alternative for the first time in 2024.
Beyond Belgium, the partnership will also extend to Tomorrowland’s global properties, including Tomorrowland Winter, Tomorrowland Brazil, and Unity at Sphere, among others, with branded opportunities now available for partners to join the experience across both digital and physical stages.
Michael Kümmerle, Global Head of Music Partnership Development at TikTok, commented:
“We are thrilled to once again partner with Tomorrowland to bring the best of dance music to the global TikTok community of #ElectronicMusic lovers — this time for the entire year. We’re also excited to welcome brand partners into this journey, offering new ways to engage with one of the world’s most iconic festival platforms.”
