Rina Sawayama gets visuals for “Where U Are”

UK-based, Japanese born artist Rina Sawayama has been building a serious fanbase lately, and we’re loving her ever-growing style and sound that she’s been slowly crafting. She’s recently released the visuals for “Where U Are,” a late night love ballad that hits the heart and mind, and the visuals are equally encapsulating.

Featuring her high-fashion aesthetic with glitter and paired off against her ‘disco sucks’ loungewear as she sits and watches a Youtube version of herself and discovers some things, it’s fun and playful without detracting from how great the song is in general. It’s pop with a highbrow edge, and we’re seriously digging it.
