French duo Parallelle just released their latest single ‘Take You On A Ride’ on September 17, 2025, via their Lisbon-based label FOLDER. This release acts as a sizzling teaser for their upcoming second LP 11th Avenue, slated for October 29, with a vinyl edition following shortly after. Rooted in Lisbon’s vibrant scene, Parallelle draws from a mix of house, techno, and world music influences, incorporating live instruments and field recordings from their global journeys. Their name nods to music theory—two scales starting on the same note but diverging while staying in conversation—which echoes their collaborative spirit as musicians, curators, and sound designers for film and fashion.
To celebrate 11th Avenue, they’re hitting the road with a worldwide tour featuring intimate listening parties, hybrid DJ sets, custom productions, and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. They’ve also linked up with emerging streetwear label Ciaran for limited merch drops, perfectly timed for ADE in October.
The track itself is a solid tech house cut that hits with a polished finish, driven by steady, pulsating basslines and evolving instrumental builds that hold the energy steady and get bodies in motion right through. One of the driving elements of the track is the sleek and sexy vocal performance that compliments the instrumental. It nails that signature Parallelle touch—groove-heavy, warm, and musically rich—making it a go-to for electronic sets where the beat needs to simmer and build without overcomplicating things.
The album’s analogue focus shines here too, mixing live elements like jazzy sax and trumpet with vocals from Thomas and guests, creating tones that feel timeless yet fresh.
