NEWS: Flying Lotus joins Aphex Twin on Field Day 2017

The long-running hipster festival of choice, has now announced its second headlining artist for 2017.

London’s Field Day has added Flying Lotus to the bill for next year’s festival, taking place in Victoria Park on June 3rd. He joins fellow Warp artist Aphex Twin on the line-up.

There’s no indication what stage FlyLo will be playing on, but Aphex Twin will be playing in a new custom-built stage called The Barn, which is the festival’s new second stage arena.

The indoor venue is described by the festival as “a gigantic hanger-like construction with a state of the art high-powered sound system and one of the most technologically advanced lighting rigs around.”

Nicolas Jaar will also play his only live UK show of 2017, sharing the bill with the likes of Fatima Yamaha, Forest Swords, GAIKA, Death Grips, Omar Souleyman, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith, S U R V I V E and Moderat. Other highlights include shoegaze veterans Slowdive and Chicago indie band Whitney.
