French electronic artist Madeon has returned to the world of official remixes for the first time in 14 years, delivering a soaring new version of Australian producer Ninajirachi’s ‘iPod Touch’. Released on 28 August via NLV Records, Madeon reimagines the standout from Ninajirachi’s 2025 debut album I Love My Computer, transforming its nostalgic electronic foundations with bright synths, spacious production and a distinctly euphoric early-2010s EDM feel.
The collaboration is personal: Ninajirachi’s ‘iPod Touch’ reflects on discovering music as a teenager and cites Madeon’s early work as a key influence. Consequently, she insisted on only releasing a remix if Madeon created it. Using his early FL Studio projects to match the track’s era, Madeon added a verse about his own musical beginnings. Inspired by her story, his remix turned into a shared reflection on intergenerational influence.
The result bridges two generations of artists connected by internet music culture. Madeon’s melodic production revives his classic sound within Ninajirachi’s framework. The remix was previously teased during Madeon’s Coachella set alongside ‘Technicolour’, an edit Ninajirachi unexpectedly witnessed live before their official collaboration.
