Kode 9 to receive AIM Award

Hyperdub turns 10 this year and to make the anniversary even more special, Kode 9 is to receive an Association of Independant Music Innovators Award.

Kode 9 had this to say, “You can only do so much on your own, so really this award is for all the artists I work with and the team that distribute and promote our music behind the scenes. Thanks and congratulations to them.”

The AIM awards praise the success of independent artists and have honoured the likes of The Prodigy, SBTRKT and Frank Turner. XFM’s John Kennedy and Radio 1’s Alice Levine will play hosts to the ceremony held at The Brewery, Clerkenwell September 2nd.
