FKA twigs has returned with a striking new single, ‘Perfectly’, a standalone release which she describes as a continuation of her 2025 album EUSEXUA. twigs has hinted that she was working on an expansion of the album during an appearance on Therapuss with Jake Shane, where she revealed that this new track is on the deluxe. Having become a fixture in her live sets throughout the year, ‘Perfectly’ finally arrives in its full studio form, with a mesmerizing accompanying video.
Co-written and produced by FKA twigs alongside Koreless, Ethan P. Flynn, and with additional production from Batu, ‘Perfectly’ continues to expand the textured, ethereal hyperpop world twigs has carved out on EUSEXUA, offering delicately ricocheting vocal samples, uptempo clubby beats and a ravey dreaminess that’s irresistibly danceable. Its release is accompanied by a new visual directed by Jordan Hemingway, a frequent collaborator whose work has shaped much of the album’s singular visual identity.
The video, showcasing twigs dancing alongside a group of fellow dancers, stands as a tribute to the community that has formed around EUSEXUA, as well as the album’s recurring themes of embodiment, fragility, and liberation.
