Multi-hyphenate creative Pablo Starr unveiled a dazzling single titled ‘Story of Life (Sorrow of Love, Joy of Music)’, which ushers in a brand new era for the artist. Based in Paris, but born and bred in the vibrant city of New Orleans, Pablo Starr is an indie, electronic musician, and founder of the renowned online magazine Fashion Week Online.
With the single, Pablo merges the depth and fervor of jazz and bossa nova, with the boundless nature of electronic music. Thematically, the single is an ode to the duality of love, specifically the inescapable grief and unlimited joy that comes with it. Additionally, the track explores the power of memories and how they’re channeled in the present.
Speaking on the track Pablo shares; “In many ways, this song is a meditation on how memories of love stay with us, like flickers of light we can revisit anytime. I wanted ‘Story of Life’ to encapsulate that duality of warmth and ache—which are such natural parts of life. It’s a celebration of the imagination, and I hope this track resonates with people who have their own stories of love and loss.”
The single was produced, mastered, mixed and recorded by Pablo at his studio in Paris. ‘Story of Life’ is not an isolated piece of art, in fact, its essence is very much interconnected with Pablo’s other artistic pursuits, including his forthcoming graphic novel Cyberpink®.
