UK electronic duo Bassvictim have announced their 19-track second album of 2026, PEACE + WAR, releasing 6 November on VOTB. The announcement arrives with new single ‘White Flag,’ following September’s ‘Jagódki (Blueberries)‘.
Bassvictim, comprising vocalist Maria Manow and producer Ike Clateman, blend distorted electronics, indie-sleaze, and bedroom-pop. On ‘White Flag,’ Manow’s raw vocals meet Clateman’s gritty production, balancing vulnerable songwriting with confrontational club music.
It follows March’s album, ? and their 2025 debut, Forever. The duo first gained attention with their Basspunk EPs, blending unconventional pop with harsh club production. Per Hypebeast, PEACE + WAR expands this over 19 tracks, mixing intimate vocals and distorted textures with a stronger dancefloor focus.
Currently on their White Flag North American tour, Bassvictim play two Halloween night shows in New York on 31 October. They return to Europe in November for Pitchfork Paris on 4 November, London’s Troxy on 6 November, and Dublin on 15 November.
