Worra, Wreckno, and Kaleena Sanders, the video unfolds as a montage of community-sourced clips, honouring the power of authenticity in the face of adversity. Created from a HE.SHE.THEY. Pride Month sample pack, ‘Expression’ is a sharp, drum-driven track that marks a new sonic chapter.
Known for her genre-blurring sound, fearless sets, and unwavering advocacy, Baby Weight has become a defining voice in contemporary house music. With past support from figures like Fatboy Slim, LP Giobbi, and Nicole Moudaber, she has built a career on boundary-pushing releases and landmark festival appearances at Coachella, EDC, and Dirtybird Campout. Her label, Chub Rub, founded in 2017, has served as a home for emerging talent and sonic experimentation across the house spectrum.
Speaking on the intention behind the video, Baby Weight emphasised its political urgency: “It was important to me that we send the message that in spite of the hate, violence, and rhetoric, we as a community won’t back down.”
“Joy and hope are the keys to survival,” she added. “And we have to survive.”
