ADDKT has unleashed a breakbeat and bassline monster with his latest track ‘Rockin Wit Da Beat’.
The track, which dropped on 27 February, was crafted specifically for peak-time dancefloor bliss and incorporates various shades of electronic music into one cohesive offering.
The single will ensnare fans of Bakey, MPH and Skrillex, as it features a burly bassline, rolling low-end tension, scintillating synths and a hypnotizing vocal chant which creates an inescapable intensity. ‘Rockin Wit Da Beat’ follows ADDKT’s previous release ‘Rave Inc’ , which is an equally powerful drum and bass statement.
Based in the UK, ADDKT has previously released music under aliases like xthirtythree and Cosmic Sunset. With this project however, his artistic vision is more intentional, precise and authentic, which are qualities that are evident within ‘Rockin Wit Da Beat’ as well as ‘Rave Inc’.
Inspired by African and Brazilian influences, as well as bass heavy, tribal-infused soundscapes, percussive house and breakbeat, it’s clear ADDKT refuses to limit his sound or the direction of his artistry.
