South African alternative rap trio Internet Girl are gearing up for the release of their debut album, YES, with a rollout that brings together new singles, international collaborations, limited-edition vinyl and an upcoming headline tour. Set for release on 13 November 2026 via PACK. Records, the 10-track project marks a significant milestone for the Cape Town-based group as they continue to build an international audience.
The rollout began with the release of ‘ALL THE SAME’, followed by ‘DA BUSINESS’, featuring Atlanta rapper Kenny Mason. The latter arrived alongside the album announcement on 23 September, with a limited-edition white vinyl pressing also made available for pre-order. Built around distorted guitars, live drums and aggressive synths, ‘DA BUSINESS’ brings together Internet Girl’s alternative sound with Kenny Mason’s gritty rap delivery. The collaboration reportedly came about after the artists connected through Instagram DMs.
Continuing the momentum ahead of the project, the band unveiled ‘HIGH AS HEAVEN’ on 21 October as their latest single. Transitioning between dreamy vocals, heavy electronic textures and driving instrumentation, the piece highlights Internet Girl’s signature fusion of post-punk, hyperpop and alternative hip-hop. Alongside the single, the complete 10-track list for YES confirms an additional guest feature from Ledbyher on ‘BIG SAN TONY’, sitting alongside cuts like ‘ON THE EDGE’, ‘WAKE UP’, ‘UNDER PRESSURE’, ‘KEEP THE MONEY COMING’ and ‘YOU WON’T SEE’. A significant portion of the material was crafted during a writing retreat in the Karoo early in 2026. The album title itself originated as a recurring phrase by frontman TK during studio sessions, gradually evolving into a core ethos of creative freedom and leaping into the unknown.
The album announcement also coincides with an expanding international run for the trio. Their upcoming YES North America & EU Tour begins on 11 November in New York, with further stops in Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco, before heading to Europe for dates in London, Antwerp, Lille and Paris. The tour follows appearances at Boiler Room Soweto and Pitchfork Music Festival Paris, as well as a co-headlining performance at Kiss Kiss Festival alongside Basement Jaxx.
