On 20 October 2026, DJ software company Serato launched Serato DJ for iOS alongside its desktop version 5.0 update. The app brings Serato’s platform to iPhone and iPad, allowing DJs to mix on the go with support for over 120 compatible hardware setups.
The mobile app delivers key desktop features to Apple devices, including virtual decks, waveforms, libraries, cue points, loops and effects. It also supports Serato Stems for real-time stem isolation, along with key syncing, beatgrids and direct mix recording.
Serato DJ for iOS integrates streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, Tidal, and Beatport directly into the app. It connects with controllers, mixers, and turntables from Pioneer DJ, AlphaTheta, Rane, Numark, Hercules, and Roland, while a handheld mode allows touchscreen mixing without extra gear.
Serato iOS Transfer enables moving music libraries and crates, with cue points, beatgrids, and metadata, from computers to iOS devices, requiring desktop version 5.0 or later. Free to download on the App Store, the app offers advanced features via subscription or paid licence, and is included for Serato DJ Suite subscribers.
