Korg has expanded its Nu:Tekt DIY range with the launch of the NTS-4 Performance Mixer Kit, a compact six-channel analogue mixer aimed at producers and live performers working with desktop synths, drum machines and modular gear. Designed as a central hub for small hardware setups, the self-assembly kit combines flexible routing, onboard effects and modern USB connectivity in a portable format.

The NTS-4 features four stereo and two mono 3.5 mm inputs, with switchable line/Eurorack levels on the mono channels to mix up to ten simultaneous signals. Dedicated stereo send/return loops and per-channel CUE and MUTE buttons enable external processing, headphone previewing, and live transitions. Onboard processing includes two independent stereo engines: SEND FX (delay, reverb, chorus) and TOTAL FX master processing (filters, flanger, phaser, drive, distortion, compressor, limiter) to shape the mix without external hardware.

Beyond its analogue mixing capabilities, the NTS-4 doubles as a USB-C audio interface, supporting 48 kHz/24-bit audio streaming to computers and mobile devices. USB MIDI functionality also enables users to route MIDI from a DAW directly to external hardware, making the mixer equally suited to live performance, recording and streaming setups. The unit ships as a solder-free DIY kit housed in a durable steel chassis, continuing the hands-on philosophy of Korg’s Nu:Tekt series while remaining accessible to users with no electronics experience.

The kit is available now with a retail price of $249 USD (€219 / £189).
