Splice has partnered with ElevenLabs to develop AI-powered music creation tools, set for release later this year, using ElevenLabs’ foundational music models. According to CEO Kakul Srivastava, both companies are committed to building responsible, artist-focused products grounded in fair compensation, ensuring that creators come first in the second wave of music AI.
ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski stated their studio-grade models will provide commercial-ready audio directly to creators via Splice. This partnership follows Splice’s January acquisition of Kits AI and a December 2025 collaboration with Universal Music Group to develop next-generation AI tools for artists.
Last month, Splice released AI tools like Variations, Craft, and Magic Fit, which use its catalog of 3 million human-made samples to ensure original creators are compensated. Founded in 2013, Splice reached a $500 million valuation in 2021. ElevenLabs, established in 2022 by Mati Staniszewski and Piotr Dąbkowski, has evolved from text-to-speech into broader audio AI. By February 2026, ElevenLabs attained a valuation of $11 billion, with recent reports indicating that its annual revenue has surpassed $500 million.
