For its 20th anniversary edition from 6 to 8 August 2026, NEOPOP will temporarily return to its original ANTIPOP title. The final lineup additions include Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, and The Martinez Brothers, joining previously announced legends such as Jeff Mills, Goldie, and Helena Hauff.
“The celebration of NEOPOP’s 20 years is not only about commemorating our trajectory, it’s a moment that allows us to reflect on the future and growth of this project. When we started, we were part of a niche, the counterculture of counterculture,” Gustavo Pereira of NEOPOP explains. “Today, electronic music has evolved from something avant-garde, unknown, and underground into a global phenomenon. Along with this transformation, NEOPOP has also established itself as a must-attend event for the most influential artists.”
Further evolutions include a reimagined main stage and the debut of the Back Stage, which critiques traditional VIP culture by presenting a lineup that eschews professional hierarchy in favor of a strictly alphabetical roster. Visitors can also explore an on-site thematic exhibition honoring the most significant milestones from two decades of NEOPOP history.
The DubLab collective will oversee the visual curation across all stages. This landmark anniversary receives support from the Viana do Castelo City Council and Turismo de Portugal, alongside partnerships with Heineken, Johnnie Walker, and Antena 3.
