James Blake has announced his forthcoming album Trying Times and shared its lead single, ‘Death of Love’. The record is set for release on 13 March via Good Boy Records and marks the GRAMMY-winning artist’s seventh studio album to date.
The album features guest vocal appearances from long-time collaborators Monica Martin and Dave. Martin previously worked with Blake on ‘Show Me’ and ‘Go Easy, Kid’, while Dave reunites with Blake following their acclaimed collaboration on The Boy Who Played The Harp.
The newly released single ‘Death of Love’ offers an early glimpse into the album’s emotional core, pairing Blake’s signature minimalism with a stark, reflective edge.
