Plug in your guitar pedals and dust off your amps because today we are sharing an exclusive listen of UK rocker Palumbo’s latest single ‘This House’, which will debut on the 28th of July. The single is the third to be shared from his forthcoming album, Tales From the Big Smoke, a full-length project that will be launching at an event tailored to the occasion, scheduled to take place on the 29th of July at The Borland Lounge situated at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith, Australia.
Drawing from the jangle era, namely the ‘60s and ‘70s, ‘This House’ has a bit of everything. Some soulful backup vocals, classic rock vocals, clean and sharp chords, rhythmically cohesive drum rhythms, and most importantly, distinctive choruses that ease into gentler verses. The BBC-supported muso will be exporting his talent from the United Kingdom, where the album was made (Area 18 Studio in West London and Ashley Manor Studio in Bath), to the great down-under.
