Anthony Child, better known as Surgeon and producer Daniel Bean have come together in a collaborative project titled The Transcendence Orchestra. The duo have recorded their debut collaborative output.
Recorded in just 24 hours, the album entitled Modern Methods For Ancient Rituals will be released on Editions Mego on December 15th.
Set in the rural scenery of Cats Abbey, the pair used a wide range of instruments and effects that included a harmonium, Buchla Music Easel, Shruti box, bass guitar, hurdy gurdy, Electro Harmonix 45000, Strymon Blue Sky, and Roland RE 101 Space Echo to name a few.
In their attempt to “aid in the transformation of consciousness” they have shared the first teaser in promotion of the album.
