Future bass artist Illenium (real name Nick Miller) has announced a debut UK performance date – with Seven Lions at the Electric Brixton on May 12th – along with the release of a brand-new single, “Fractures”, featuring vocals from Nevve.
The young Colorado-based producer, whose 2016 album Ashes earned numerous No. 1 chart positions as well as heady praise from figures within the bass music world, will play the London show in the middle of a tour schedule that also includes the Shaky Beats, Global Dub, Bonnaroo and Electric Forest festivals. Supporting Illenium at the Electric Brixton will be Seven Lions, a US DJ known for creatively blending the styles of dubstep, glitch hop, electro and trance.
“Fractures” is a club-friendly, though compositionally interesting, track that brings together melodic bass sounds and lush, soaring vocals from female electronic act Nevve, previous collaborators with Jayceeoh and I Am The Elephante.
This show will be UK future bass fans’ first chance to see Illenium – who has shared the stage with Bassnectar, Jack U, Deadmau5 and Tiesto (among others) – in the flesh. Book early to ensure you catch this act, whom Dancing Astronaut have called “one of the most influential figures in future bass”.
