The organisers of Dutch electronic music festival Dekmantel have released a cryptic promotional video on their Facebook page, that seems to hint at some of the acts that will be playing at this year’s event (to be held at Amsterdamse Bos from 2-6 August).
The video, cleverly titled “Tomorrow’s Artefacts” and which has been shared widely on social media, presents a series of rendered 3D images spanning ancient and future worlds, that are occasionally ‘interrupted’ by glimpses of their ‘underlying code’.
A fun promotional stunt, eagle-eyed electronic music fans have so far been able ‘confirm’ the following acts for the 2017 Dekmantel Music Festival: Floating Points, Helena Hauff, Motor City Drum Ensemble, DJ Nobu, Joy Orbison, Bicep, Palms Trax, Doppler Effekt, Larry Heard, Vakula, Robert Hood, Boiler Room, Red Light Radio and Funktion-One.
