The track is a teaser for Hell’s new album called Zukunftsmusik, due out in 2017.
DJ Hell will put out a new single called “I Want U” following a three-year break from releasing music.
The single is a collaboration with the Tom Of Finland foundation, an organisation “dedicated to protecting and preserving erotic art and erotic arts education.” Due out digitally on Gigolo Records on December 24th, it will precede DJ Hell’s Zukunftsmusik album, which is scheduled to land in spring 2017. “My new song ‘I Want U’ centers on love between men,” DJ Hell says. “My intention is to convey the beautiful images of the strong, muscular men of the gay community from an unexpected perspective.”
Tom Of Finland, AKA Touko Valio Laaksonen, was a Finnish artist who operated throughout the 20th century. DJ Hell visited Tom House, a Los Angeles museum dedicated to preserving Laaksonen’s work, earlier this year, befriending director Durk Dehner, who encouraged the producer to use Tom Of Finland’s imagery in the video for “I Want U.”
