Shit Robot gears up for a new album, drops ‘End of the Trail’

The DFA family were relatively quiet in 2015 all things considered, but they’ve come back full force. While most people are concentrating on the string of festival dates that LCD Soundsystem have released for 2016’s season, there have been some seriously stunning releases out from the likes of Essaie Pas, Holy Ghost!, and now the label legend Shit Robot is ready for an album himself.

The album will be out officially on May 6th, but he’s worked with Zane Lowe to release ‘End of the trail,’ the first track off the upcoming What Follows. Shit Robot’s style has shifted over the years, but he’s been settling into this sound for a minute and his mix of staccato laden synths and smooth vocals.

Preorders for the album can be found here, via Bandcamp.
