Swedish pop visionary Robyn is set to consolidate her era-defining Body Talk trilogy into a single, luxurious double-12” vinyl collection. Marking the first time the three-part project has been available as a unified physical set, this release is a must-have for aficionados of the “sad disco” pioneer.
Pressed on striking clear vinyl and housed in a shimmering silver sleeve, the album serves as a high-fidelity retrospective of Robyn’s most influential work. Fans can expect to revisit the synth-pop perfection of ‘Dancing On My Own,’ the vulnerability of ‘Hang With Me,’ and the infectious energy of ‘Call Your Girlfriend.’
The collection is officially scheduled for release on July 17 and is available for pre-order now through major retailers and independent record stores.
The Body Talk series, originally unveiled in 2010, represented a watershed moment for Robyn (born Robin Miriam Carlsson). After achieving early R&B success in the 90s, she famously seized creative control by founding Konichiwa Records in 2005. This move allowed her to cultivate a unique sonic landscape that pairs euphoric dance-floor production with raw, heart-on-sleeve lyricism.
The trilogy originally debuted as two distinct mini-albums, Pt. 1 and Pt. 2, culminating in a full-length compilation that integrated new material with the highlights of the preceding releases.
