Carl Cox and Jon Rundell have joined forces for a collaborative compilation album titled Pure Intec 3. Released today, as a two-disc CD set with a digital download, Pure Intec 3 features tracks from Intec Digital label artists including Nicole Moudaber, Danny Serrano, and Carlo Lio. Cox and Rundell also feature on the compilation. The first disc is Cox’s compilation and the second is Rundell’s.
This is the long-awaited third instalment in the series (the previous two dropping in 2004 and 2014 respectively) and features some of the label’s biggest names, including Josh Wink, Nicole Moudaber, Harvey McKay, Cristian Varela, Stephan Hinz and of course Carl and Jon themselves.
The compilation showcases some of the massive tracks that Intec has delivered since its inception, displaying how the imprint has played an instrumental part in shaping dance music via its hefty output. Highlights include Carl Cox’s ‘Your Light Shines On’, Jon Rundell’s recent killer remix of Josh Wink’s ‘Talking To You’, and Joseph Capriati’s remix of Cox’s ‘Kommen Zusammen’.
Intec Digital is set to release its latest compilation album, ‘Pure Intec 3’, mixed by label co-heads Carl Cox and Jon Rundell. This essential double CD set follows on from the previous two ‘Pure Intec’ compilations released in 2004 and 2014, and features some of the label’s biggest names including: Misstress Barbara, Josh Wink, Nicole Moudaber, Danny Serrano, Carlo Lio, Harvey McKay, Cristian Varela as well as Carl Cox and Jon Rundell amongst others. Saeed Younan’s funk driven classic, ‘Drop It’, kicks off the release, as Carl Cox seamlessly blends the track into Misstress Barbara’s seductive Techno number, ‘Don’t Tease Me.’
Other highlights from CD1 include Jon Rundell’s driving track, ‘Utopia’, DJ/producer Sidney Charles’ ‘Justice’, Nicole Moudaber’s pounding Techno groover, ‘One Day Later’ and Carl Cox’s Barbadian-influenced hit, ‘Your Light Shines On’. The second instalment, mixed by Jon Rundell, features Spanish artist Dosem’s ‘The Path’, Danny Serrano’s ‘Paragraphy’, Joseph Capriati’s killer remix of Carl Cox’s ‘Kommen Zusammen’, Cristian Varela’s ‘Alarm Waves’ and Jon Rundell’s TR-909-laden remix of Josh Wink’s hit, ‘Talking To You’ are a few of the highlights from this stellar selection of Intec’s finest offerings.
