British singer, songwriter and producer PinkPantheress is set to make her feature film acting debut in a new project from Oscar-winning directing duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, collectively known as the Daniels. The untitled film marks the filmmakers’ first feature since their critically acclaimed 2022 hit Everything Everywhere All at Once and is scheduled to arrive in cinemas in November 2027.

While plot details remain tightly under wraps, the film is being produced by the Daniels‘ production company, Playgrounds, in partnership with Universal Pictures. PinkPantheress joins an ensemble cast that includes Matt Damon, Sandra Oh, Charles Melton, Sean Kaufman, Silvia Dionicio, Jackson Kelly, Kerrice Brooks, Thalia Dudek and Michael Gandolfini

The casting marks another major milestone in the artist’s rapidly expanding career. Better known for her genre-blurring blend of UK garage, drum & bass and alt-pop, PinkPantheress has enjoyed a breakout few years, recently becoming the first woman and youngest recipient of the BRIT Award for Producer of the Year. She has also continued to build momentum with chart success and acclaimed live performances, including a return to Coachella earlier this year.

The Daniels‘ return to filmmaking has been one of Hollywood’s most closely watched projects following the seven Academy Awards won by Everything Everywhere All at Once, including Best Picture and Best Director.
