The twentieth annual Melt Festival will take place at Ferropolis open-air museum in Germany from 14 to 16 July 2017. As one of the biggest open-air electronic music festivals in Germany, Melt Festival has been named as one of Resident Advisor’s top ten festivals for three years running. This comes as no surprise if you look at the line-up, facilities and innovation of the festival organisers.
The headlining acts include South African alternative hip hop group, Die Antwoord, who themselves are no strangers to the festival scene. Bonobo, MIA, and MØ are also headlining, with Ben Frost and Zebra Katz featured as new artists. The great line up makes it worth every bit of the €140 ticket price.
The ticket price includes access to the camping facilities. If you want, you can opt for the MiXery Festival Camp, which takes glamping to a new level; with cellphone charging stations, separate bathrooms, party tent, shuttle to the festival site, food truck, and free drinks.
The festival organisers have also ensured convenience for festival goers, by making Melt Festival 2017 cashless. By pre-loading money onto your wristband you not only have the convenience of not having to carry a wallet around with you, but you are also protected from potential theft.
Stay tuned for artist interviews and exciting features as we draw closer to Melt 2017.
