Lil Silva is back this week, this time collaborating with Kent Jamz in ‘De Ja.’ The ethereal track blends erratic jumps with smooth vocals to create a yin-yang dynamic throughout the piece.
Chaos reigns in this track, as it does in many of his songs, and he creates a dissonance that is hard to ignore; it commands all of attention and highlights how much of a conductor role he has within such a short time frame. Lil Silva manages to shove the song into our faces, while simultaneously still maintaining a calm core and like with many of his pieces, it’s stellar from start to finish. He’s a master puppeteer with the listener’s emotions, and he knows how to mesmerize us from start to finish.
