A large collection of David Lynch’s personal studio equipment and film memorabilia is currently being auctioned by Julien’s Auctions in partnership with Turner Classic Movies (TCM), following the late filmmaker and musician’s passing earlier this year at the age of 78.

The auction features over 400 items from Lynch’s home studio and creative archive, ranging from everyday production tools to rare vintage equipment. Highlights include a Fender Rhodes electric piano, a custom five-neck guitar, a Telefunken U47 microphone, and an E-mu Emulator III sampler, alongside more standard pieces like Boss pedals, MIDI keyboards, and 1980s Bang & Olufsen stereo systems.

While Lynch is best known for his distinctive body of film work, his contributions to music through solo albums, scores, and collaborations, are well represented in the studio gear now up for sale.

Beyond audio equipment, the lot also includes props and memorabilia from Blue Velvet, Dune, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, and Twin Peaks, as well as personal items like his director’s chair, coffee machines, and annotated screenplays.

Many items have already exceeded their estimated value ahead of the auction’s close on Wednesday, June 18. Bidding is open now via Julien’s Auctions.
