Cobrah – Suck
Suck, the new single from Cobrah, is as scuzzy as you might expect. The Swedish underground pop princess once again conjures up a sweaty, pulse quickening banger with her signature monotone cadence and propulsive house beats. But while Suck might sound like another variation of tracks like Brand New Bitch or Good Puss, the visuals for the song are some of Cobrah’s strongest to date. Featuring the singer splayed out on a medical chair in a liminal white void, the futuristic fetish inspired video sees Cobrah’s body examined and cupped by two xenomorph like creatures. The fashion is a marvel to behold, credited to the work of goth stylist Kurt Johnson, whose bold choices bring out the hardcore in Cobrah’s otherwise sweet dance pop confection. See the clip below.
