Scottish synth-pop trio CHVRCHES will release their 11-track fifth album, All The King’s Men, on 22 January 2027 via Futures Music Group. Marking their first full-length album in nearly six years, the release will be supported by a tour across North America, the UK, and Ireland.

Following a break after touring their 2021 record Screen Violence, band members Lauren Mayberry, Iain Cook, and Martin Doherty reunited in Glasgow for several intensive three-week sessions to explore a new creative direction.

Rooted in British and Scottish culture, All The King’s Men combines diverse influences, from filmmakers like Ken Loach and Shane Meadows to artists such as Massive Attack, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Nick Drake, Bert Jansch, and Incredible String Band. The resulting album adopts an experimental, indie-rock direction while preserving the band’s core identity.

The album was previewed last month with the release of ‘Roses’, a track that approaches contemporary social commentary through the darker undercurrents of British life. The full record will feature 11 songs, including ‘Evil’, ‘Adore You’, ‘Overthinker’, ‘Royal Blue’, ‘Comedown Tomorrow’, ‘Friend Of A Friend’, ‘Three Out Of Five’, ‘Conman’, ‘Jamie’s Prayer’ and ‘Faith In Flying’.

CHVRCHES will launch a 2027 tour to support the album, starting in Philadelphia on 13 February and spanning North America. The UK and Ireland leg runs from Glasgow on 23 April through Aberdeen, Dundee, Dublin, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, and Norwich, ending at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on 6 May. Presales start on 27 October, with general ticket sales opening on 30 October.
