From July 24 to 27, the enchanting grounds of Château de Farcheville—a medieval fortress just outside Paris—will once again become the canvas for one of Europe’s most unique festivals. Marking its 10th anniversary, Château Perché returns with a transformative celebration of music, visual art, and collective imagination that defies categorisation.

More than 6,900 guests and over 400 international artists will converge for four days and nights of sensory exploration. With four daytime and seven nighttime stages—including conceptual spaces like Le Mirador de l’Amor, Le Jardin à la Française, and Le Colombier—the festival weaves together an expansive musical spectrum: from dreamy downtempo and melodic techno to amapiano, UK garage, live instrumental acts, and deep dives into psytrance.

This year’s theme—“Once upon a time there was a graphic fantasy utopia”—sets the tone for a narrative-driven experience that’s as much about visual storytelling as it is about sound. Each day carries a distinct dress code, encouraging attendees to become co-authors of the festival’s mythos:

  • Day 1: Pyjamas in the Sky with Diamonds

  • Day 2: Haute Couture Kinky Tales

  • Day 3: Vermillon Love Legion

At the heart of the event lies the Exploration Village, a curated zone for immersive workshops and embodied experiences. Meanwhile, La Cour d’honneur offers a daily reset, with audiovisual shows, self-care sanctuaries, and tranquil zones for intentional rest. As ever, décor remains a defining pillar—nothing short of hallucinatory, with every detail crafted to transport.

Guided by its founding principles—Respect, Ecology, Safety, and AwakeningChâteau Perché stays firmly rooted in purpose. The festival is entirely vegetarian, utilizes reusable tableware, and offers shuttles from eight French cities to reduce environmental impact. Entry is contingent on a signed moral commitment form—an invitation to uphold the event’s communal ethos.

More than just a festival, Château Perché is a portal to a parallel reality—one where art, self-expression, and radical kindness shape the rules. Press tours are available onsite for those looking to delve deeper into this living, breathing utopia.
