Arts Council England (ACE) has launched a new Music Creators Growth Fund, offering direct financial support to established music creators looking to develop their careers and pursue ambitious new projects. The fund will provide grants of between £10,000 and £20,000, targeting artists and music-makers with a strong track record over the past three years.
Eligible applicants include solo artists, bands, DJs, producers, composers, songwriters and artist collectives. The scheme forms part of the UK Government’s wider £45 million Music Growth Package, which was expanded by an additional £15 million in July. The three-year initiative is expected to support more than 2,000 projects and over 40,000 artists and music professionals, marking a significant increase in public investment across the UK’s music ecosystem.
Targeting established creators rather than early-career artists or grassroots venues, the Music Creators Growth Fund provides capital for ambitious creative and professional plans. As the final of three new Music Growth Package schemes, it operates alongside the Music Growth Fund, which offers £1,000 to £100,000 to music organisations, and partner initiatives focusing on international showcases, exports, and early-career promoters.
The package marks a shift in government funding by targeting up-and-coming and mid-career artists, bands, and music makers, alongside managers, labels, and publishers. Part of the 2026–2029 initiative, it aims to build a stronger talent pipeline and foster domestic and international growth.
