Bloc returns on Saturday, 6 March 2027, for a 20th anniversary, 16-hour reunion at The Cause in Docklands, London, running from 2pm to 6am. Marking 20 years since its launch and a decade since its final weekender, the event shifts from a holiday-park festival to a multi-room venue party.
The initial artist lineup features Jeff Mills, British Murder Boys (Surgeon and Regis), DJ Storm b2b Tasha, Egyptian Lover, Leftfield (DJ set), Miss Djax, and Tama Sumo & Lakuti. Steve Davis returns alongside Kavus Torabi, with host collectives including I Love Acid, Plex, Chapter 10, and Telepathic Fish. Highlights include a rare live set from Egyptian Lover, a British Murder Boys reunion, an all-vinyl acid set by Miss Djax, a Telepathic Fish chill-out room, and Leftfield‘s Bloc debut via Neil Barnes. More acts will be announced.
Founded in 2007 by George Hull and Alex Benson at Pontins Hemsby before moving to Butlin’s Minehead, Bloc became famous for its holiday-park setting and diverse electronic music lineups. After its last weekend festival in 2016, the team focused on club events, including an eight-year run at Autumn Street in East London.
The 2027 edition marks a major format change, replacing the traditional weekend holiday-park event with a 16-hour party across all spaces at The Cause. This multi-room layout enables organisers and collectives to recreate Bloc’s signature varied programming. With more artists to be announced, the 20 Year Reunion celebrates the festival’s legacy.
