Roni Size Reprazent Announce Landmark 30th Anniversary Tour for ‘New Forms’

Thirty years after New Forms helped propel drum & bass from the underground into the global spotlight, Roni Size Reprazent have announced a June 2027 UK tour celebrating the landmark album. The limited run of live shows will see the Bristol collective return to the stage as a full live band, with drum & bass pioneers Fabio & Grooverider joining the bill as special guests for all dates except London.

Originally released in 1997, New Forms represented a groundbreaking meeting point between electronic production and live musicianship. The album fused drum & bass with jazz, soul, hip hop and funk, reflecting the distinctive Bristol sound that Roni Size developed alongside DJ Krust, DJ Die and Suv through Full Cycle Records. The record went on to win the 1997 Mercury Music Prize, beating out releases including Radiohead’s OK Computer, The Prodigy’s The Fat of the Land and The Chemical Brothers’ Dig Your Own Hole.

The platinum-selling album spawned iconic tracks like ‘Brown Paper Bag’, ‘Heroes’ and ‘Watching Windows’. Thirty years later, Reprazent will perform this material and other catalogue highlights live. The touring lineup features Roni Size on keys, vocalists Dynamite MC and Onallee, bassist Si John, live drums, and two extra keyboardists. By featuring London jungle pioneers Fabio & Grooverider, who built their influence through Rage at Heaven, Kiss FM, and BBC Radio 1.

The Roni Size Reprazent 30th Anniversary UK Tour begins in Bournemouth on 3 June 2027. It visits Birmingham, Brixton, Leeds, Nottingham, Newcastle, Manchester, and Glasgow, concluding at Bristol Sounds on 25 June.
