London nightlife project Lost is preparing to return in November, months after leaving its temporary home at the former Odeon cinema on Shaftesbury Avenue. The secretive club has now teased plans for a new “24-hour district” in central London, although the exact location and opening date remain undisclosed.

In a September 30 Instagram post, Lost announced: “We have uncovered a city within a city. A 24-hour district in the heart of London. We want to build it with you.” The post confirmed key rules from its first chapter: “No phones. No line up. November 2026.” Launched in late 2025 by the Secret Cinema team at Shaftesbury Avenue’s former Odeon cinema, Lost gained fame by combining clubbing, films, live music, and art. It required guests to pouch their phones and kept line-ups secret.

The former cinema was converted into a multi-room venue with dance floors and spaces for film and performance. According to Time Out, screened films included Crash, Climax, Spring Breakers, and The Holy Mountain, with performances by Charli xcx, The Dare, and Lancey Foux. The site closed in May after four final weekends when Lost could not extend its lease, though a new location had already been found.

The upcoming “24-hour district” suggests an expansion of Lost’s concept, not just a move. While specifics are sparse, its focus on community collaboration hints at a merged nightlife and cultural space.
